We are excited to announce that preparations are officially underway for the first international mobility as part of our Erasmus+ project “EcoCraft: Integrating Sustainable Food, Wine, and Environmental Practices”, which will take place in May 2025 in Faro, Portugal!
Students and teachers from Srednja škola Ilok, Agronomska škola Zagreb, and the host school Agrupamento de Escolas Pinheiro e Rosa are joining forces around a shared mission – promoting sustainability through gastronomy, eco-friendly production, and social responsibility.
➡ During this mobility, participants will engage in the following key activities:
➡ National dish cooking competition
➡ Food distribution at a homeless shelter in Faro
➡ Zero-waste cooking workshops using whole ingredients
➡Compost making using earthworms (vermicomposting)
Participants are currently undergoing preparatory workshops, including language and cultural training, as well as hands-on rehearsals for planned activities. Technical and logistical preparations with the host school are also ongoing to ensure a safe and smooth experience for all.
The mobility aims not only to foster the exchange of knowledge but also to strengthen intercultural awareness, empathy, and adoption of sustainable habits that students and teachers can bring back to their communities.
Follow us here and on our social media channels for updates on the project, preparations, and the upcoming mobility!
We look forward to sharing stories, experiences, and results – directly from Portugal!
